Recommended Course of Study:
Complete at least one of the online courses. Set up a schedule for watching the videos and listening to the audio file lectures. Visit the companion website to access literary vocabulary flashcards and historical research links. Use the additional websites to build your study journal around the exam topics found on the CLEP English Literature page. Finish the course with the practice quizzes and take an exam at the British Literature flashcard site. Use the other exams for additional practice.
You should read as many works as possible over the course of the year. Choose a variety of authors, to familiarize yourself with their styles. Use the study guide websites - CliffsNotes, SparkNotes, and/or GradeSaver - to help you analyze each novel you read.
