Alternate assignment: Complete a Cultural Anthropology Interview, and write up your results in a news-magazine style.
TESTING PRACTICE:
Visit the Cultural Anthropology - The Human Challenge website and the Understanding Physical Anthropology and Archaeology website and complete the tutorial quizzes. You can print or email your responses to yourself for reference and study.
Recommended Course of Study:
Print a copy of the exam outline/description for your study journal. Watch the videos. Read the online textbook and listen to the lectures (iTunes podcasts), taking detailed notes. Work through the tutorials, and explore the links on the textbook companion websites, being sure to complete any multiple choice or true/false activities and copy all key terms to your journal. (Pay careful attention to the exam description - it covers a broad range of topics and you will need to be sure you have studied each individual subtopic of the outline.) Complete one of the project suggestions, then take the tutorial quizzes for testing practice. The final exams can be used for additional practice and grading purposes, if needed, to finish the course before taking the (optional) DSST exam.
